Travel through Pennsylvania and Ohio, taking in the stunning green mountains as you head towards Michigan, with a night’s stay in Ohio on both legs of the journey. Experience the charm of Mackinaw Island by ferry, where you can explore its natural beauty using horse-drawn wagons. After a delightful lunch at The Historic Grand Hotel's grand buffet. You can stay after lunch for self-guided tour of the property or spend the afternoon at Fort Mackinac witnessing an exciting cannon firing demonstration. In Detroit, immerse yourself in the Ford Museum and the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, the birthplace of the iconic Model T. Visit the F-150 Plant and witness the trucks being made. Motown Museum the original home of legendary Barry Gordy, self guide tour and enjoy a Motown-themed dinner cruise on the Detroit River aboard the Detroit Princess, complete with dinner & live music, dancing. On the return trip, stop in the quaint town of Frankenmuth, MI, to explore Bronner's, the world's largest Christmas store, while enjoying movies and games on the motor coach.
