Experience the beauty of the Mid-West as fall foliage begins to paint the mountains in vibrant colors. We have an exciting itinerary planned, filled with games, music, and movies as we journey to Virginia for our first night. The following day, we head to Memphis, where we’ll spend two nights at The Guest House by Graceland. Highlights include a visit to Graceland Mansion, a tour of Sun Records Studio, and a guided city tour showcasing iconic spots like Beale Street, the Peabody Hotel, and the historic Lorraine Motel, where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, along with Elvis’s childhood home. As we travel through the Tennessee Mountains to Nashville, we’ll stop at Loretta Lynn's Mansion for an inside tour and visit the Coal Miner's Daughter Museum. After lunch, we’ll visit The Parthenon, a stunning replica of the one in Athens, before checking in for three nights at The Gaylord Opryland Resort. Our Nashville adventures will include a backstage tour and show at the Grand Ole Opry, an RCA Studio Tour, and a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. We’ll also enjoy a delightful lunch cruise on the Cumberland River aboard the General Jackson Riverboat, wrapping up the day with some free time to explore the lively honky-tonks on lower Broadway. On the last day on the way home we visit the home of Pasty Cline.
