About this trip

I just enjoyed my first day trip with Gary.  It was well planned, fun, and I will definitely go again!  Everything ran like clock work.  Gary knows what he is doing, and his attention to detail shows.  I will go on his multi day trips in the future.  I recommend his fun company!!!

I’ve been with Gary‘s tours for a long time, the buses are clean. The ride is comfortable. The people are wonderful the Nashville resorts Tropicana all trips were wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great getaway thank you Gary and your team.

Can’t wait to sign up for next year’s  event.

Atlantic City Airshow 2025 at The Vue Rooftop Airshow Party

It was a fun day trip. Esther was TERRIFIC!!!! Loved being at the Claridge outside rooftop for viewing - but it was very hot out!! Too bad Claridge doesn't have awning for shade. The BBQ buffet was very good! The airshow was slow moving - a lot of waiting between each fly by. Liked getting the $20 Bally's voucher for a little gambling and having a little extra time (but no too much!) for walking the boardwalk. 

What a fantastic time!  Garys tours does an excellent job and our tour leader Anne was fantastic.  They have the most
professional drivers and truly make sure everyone has a great time.  Hell's Kitchen and lunch were fantastic.  Can't wait for the next trip!!!

Death Becomes Her: Musical

Had a great time even with the unexpected. When life gives you an unexpected lemon, you make lemonade! Robert and the driver (my apologies as I cannot remember his name) were exceptional. The driver handled the bus and the weather expertly and they both handled whatever came at them professionally and graciously. Kudos to Gary's tours.

FABULOUS TRIP! Great show, great lunch, great ride and great group of people on bus. Esther, Ann and George were awesome. Such a good fun day with Gary's Tours Fun on Wheels as they always are!!

We had a great time. There was plenty to do and see. The shopping what can I say !  Loved it !!!

American Dream Mall

The trip was well organised. The hotel comfortable, as was the bus. 
We enjoyed the information from our local guide. 
We have only recently come to America from Africa and, for us, it was too much about food and shopping, neither of which interests us. But everyone else very obviously thoroughly enjoyed themselves. 

4 Day Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard Adventure

This was a great trip.   The accommodations were comfortable, and it was good to be in the same hotel each night.  The sights on the tour were interesting and the guide with us for all was the best.  The whale watch was a highlight for me.  The Dolphin Fleet out of "PTown" took us right to an area where we saw numerous humpbacks feeding.  The guide on the watch was interesting and knowledgeable.  Finally, our driver (Johnny) and host (Al) kept us safe and entertained.

As always, the bus was clean and the driver was careful and courteous.  Lobster House meal was delicious.  It was very hot on land, but the boat ride was fun and comfortable.  No whale sightings, but dolphin antics made up no whales.  As always a great trip. 

A Day in Cape May w/ Whale Watcher Cruise

The restaurant and show was great however there was a problem with the bus and we had no air conditioning on the 2 and one half hour ride back home on a very hot day. Many passengers felt another bus should have been sent somewhere on the way back to pick us up. There were many seniors on the bus  l myself  did not feel great and got off in Brick where my grandaughter’s car was parked rather than go the additional distance to Toms River. I don’t think I would book another trip with this company in the summer.

The Bronx Wanderers: Hits of the 50's, 60's & 70's

We had a great trip. 
The tour director Esther was amazing.   She kept us all informed and on schedule.  She was super friendly made sure we were all happy and comfortable.  She definitely went above and beyond.  
Our tour guide Kathy was so knowledgeable.  You can tell she loves her job.  Her love for the area was evident.  Her husband even got on the bus and sang us a few songs! Very talented. 
Our bus driver Lamando was also great.  Very friendly and always on time.
All of the accommodations were very nice, especially the last night in Virginia!  The restaurant choices were very good.  A nice selection of meals to choose from.  We were not disappointed.

We enjoyed the itinerary for the most part.  We only have a few suggestions.
 1) Bush Beans was just ok.  Nothing to write home about.  The lunch was not great.
2) One of the biggest attractions in Pigeon Forge is the Titanic Museum.  That was not on the itinerary.  We went on our own after the Hatfield and McCoys show.  I really think that should be included on future trips.
3)The trip should be extended by a day and have one day in the middle of the week to rest, use the pool at the hotel, or go off on your own to explore.
4) The last day at The Island should have been optional.  The bus could have taken everyone that wanted to go and then come back to pick everyone else back up at the hotel and head out.  There were a lot of bored husbands.  It was close enough to the hotel for this change to happen easily.
 5)  And lastly the bus was uncomfortable.  the seats on the side of the bus with the bathroom were very tight.  No room to move, and my husband and I are not big people.

Overall, the trip was great.  I would definitely recommend it to friends and I would definitely like to take another trip with Gary's Tours in the future.

6 Day Great Smoky Mountains Adventure

Not the best event of Gary’s Tours! Dissappointing & overpriced.

Cape May Coffee & Chocolate Festival

Too long there with not too much else to do. Also way to expensive for end result.

It was a wonderful trip, great time, great driver and tour leader, would have liked a little more time in the gardens but over all, excellent 

New York Botanical Gardens Van Gogh: Painting with Flowers

The performance of The Bronx Wanderers was great!! The company I was with is always enjoyable. I also had a safe and comfortable wonderful trip with Gary’s Bus Tour! I plan on seeing The Bronx Wanderers again at Ocean County College and going on Gary’s Bus Tours again!!

The trip and travel agent for the trip were great.  However, after waiting in line for 1 hour, to get my gold Tropicana Card, I proceeded upstairs to meet my friends at Broadway Burger for lunch.  Food and waiter were excellent.  Waiter brings the bill to cash in the food comps, I'm told my card does not work, pay cash.  Have to go to Caesars Rewards, they will refund me the cash ($20).  I'm 82 with Atrial Fibulation, this is clear on the other side of Casino.  Get there, wait in line 15 min. Guy helping me says I'm third person today, just from Broadway Berger this has happened to.  Computer glitch. Return to Broadway Burger and they will give you cash back.  Return to Burger place and waiter remembers me, gets manager, after discussion, I get my $20 cash back. Al. the Gary's Tours Travel Agent on bus, was very helpful, has also contacted Caesars Rewards for me and meets me at the Restaurant to be sure I get refund.  Do to all the delays/wait times, I did not get to gamble, had to be at theater for show at 3 pm. it was excellent.  After the show we had to get directly on bus for ride home.  Not a happy camper.

It was an amazing trip, the hotels, restaurants, attractions were all top notch, the price for the trip was excellent, considering all that was included. The bus was clean and comfortable, the driver "Johnny" was without question simply AMAZING!! Our host "Al" made the journey entertaining. The overall experience was incredible, the organization of the trip, with all the moving pieces went smoothly. Only draw back was the heat wave, which no-one could do anything about, but despite that, everyone had a terrific time. Gary's Fun on Wheels Tours is a true CLASS ACT and I look forward to more adventures and making more memories!!

4 Day Niagara Falls & Safari Adventure

The Niagara Falls trip was great!  Loved all the activities planned and the dinners and lunch.  The view of the falls from our room was fantastic.  Highly recommend this trip. 

Our overall travel experience was great with one unfortunate exception. The show Noah exceeded our expectations...it was fabulous and the stop for dining at The Shady Tree buffet was delicious. As we boarded the bus to come home it was discovered that the air conditioning was not working properly! Despite our wonderful bus driver's attempts to fix it, the AC was never able to cool the bus completely for the ride home...it was extremely hot and very uncomfortable on June 24th, the hottest day of 2025 so far! Although Gary, who happened to be on the bus,  was very apologetic, more than his "I'm sorry" should have been offered!

We had a great time. So many great restaurants. Looking forward to going again

Sunset Blvd: Musical

Great all around experience. The bus driver and Robert our guide were great. We didn't see any whales but the dolphins put on a show for us! It seemed like they knew we were watching!
Would definitely recommend this trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The heat was really high, but we were comfortable on the bus, restaurant and cruise. Everyone was pleasant too. 
Food was great at the Lobster House, and the cruise was very informative about the dolphins, and we did see quite a few pods out there. Our driver was very good and friendly, as well as our host. Sorry, I cannot remember there names!

The view of the falls from our hotel room was spectacular.  The meals and excursions that were included with the trip were first rate.  My only suggestion would be to spend less time on our way home at the duty-free liquor store which would have made our arrival home sooner.

Gardens were great.  Could have stayed longer.  Any chance of staying at the garden and eating there in the future?
Food was OK.  Too long on Arthur Ave, could have skipped it.  Christine and George were excellent, hope to see them again in the future.

Wind Creek Casino

Not entirely Gary's fault however, the event was very disappointing. Very small, crowded and unexciting..I expected some demonstrations or the like. No water or snacks available for purchase or complimentary. There was nothing "VIP" about our tickets ( ok,we got in early but that only meant we finished sooner). The event coordinators didn't monitor who was and who wasn't.  Only 1 crepe station for the hundreds who were there. Event totally shut down at 2:30 for an hour before the second session. (Nothing told us we were only entitled to 1 session. ) Bus pick up not scheduled until 3:45..what were we expected to do in the hot weather? Fortunately they allowed us back into the convention center to sit in the a/c it we would have been extremely uncomfortable sitting outside. I can't believe Gary fully vetted this event before scheduling it or hopefully the timing and explanations would have been better.  


Love going to Cape May and enjoyed walking around and having lunch. However the festival was small and not really worth attending. Gary and staff as usual were great.

We had a great time; Gary drove the brand new bus, and Rob, his brother, was our trip spokesperson. I am glad I did not have to drive in the Friday evening traffic going back down the Jersey Shore. It was an enjoyable ride!

I had a great time !! Driver was great and knew exactly  time needed to get to show.   The show was very good  and so was the food.    I am happy with Gary’s tours. I have other trips planned  too. 

It was a wonderful trip. Gary and his wife are awesome. Hotel, restaurants, activities, bus driver were great! I would definitely go again and recommend. 

I had a great time !  Everything was so well organized and fun. Hotel and meals outstanding. All activities were extremely enjoyable. Gary and Sonja are terrific, and George, our bus driver is amazing!  I made such nice new friends. Can’t wait for the next t trip.

What a great time we had the smoky mountains are absolutely beautiful. The food we had was just as unbelievable as the Trip . Our tour  guide stayed with us for three days. Debbie was excellent. I highly recommend everyone to go see this. It’s a once in a lifetime trip that you wanna do thank you Gary. I love Gary‘s tours. 

It was a great trip. Lunch at Shady Maple never disappoints and Noah was absolutely wonderful. Our driver, Gary and our tour guide, Robert were wonderful and very helpful when they saw that my husband was having some difficulty walking. Was very thankful for their caring and concern.

It was a wonderful day. The buffet at Shady Maple was delicious.  The tour of Amish country was very informative.  Our guide was amazing. The bakery and pretzel food truck were both great. A very enjoyable experience. 

Day in Amish Lancaster

We had a great time. Gary thought of everything. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, but they had rain ponchos for us. The highlight was visiting the White House. It was wonderful. Accomodations were great, restaurants were wonderful. Had plenty of time to enjoy the sights. Thank you Gary's for a wonderful trip

3 Day Washington, DC and White House Tour

What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday! Gary was our tour guide, Johnny was a good driver, and the Pines theatre was very nice and cozy. Food was excellent, and the show was lots of fun. Another great trip with Gary’s Fun on Wheels.

This was a great trip. Gary's Tours lived up to their reputation of very good hotels, lots of good food and lots of fun.

Had a great time. Wonderful tour manager (Esther) made sure everyone was comfortable as we headed out on this adventure! 

Bus was not comfortable nor was the Comfort Inn (1st night accommodation). Bus was not good for a long ride. Seats were too tight and it had a leak. Ventilation was poor. 

Hotels: The Inn by the River & Hyatt Plaza, Roanoke, Va. were acceptable. Comfort inn had mold in the bathroom, shower/tub was difficult to get into and water didn’t drain. 

Breakfast at the Inn by the River, Pigeon Forge, left lots to be desired! Food was salty and no individual portions of yogurt.  Everything was family style. 

Dinners were good however no provisions for people with allergies. They would not substitute a cheese cake for a pie for a woman with a lactose issue. 

Shows were wonderful, especially the Country Tonight! Highly recommend this show!

Dollywood was wonderful as was our local guide, Kathy. 

Highly recommend this tour but suggest some adjustments.

I was very disappointed in this trip! It was a waste of $100.
We did not need to stay at Shady Maple for almost 2 hours. We were told we couldn’t go to the bakery across the street because there wasn’t enough time which there was plenty of time.We did not need to stay in the school house for a long period of time.

Then we went to a country store, which had a bakery that was horrible and was told we only had a half hour to stay there. And then the rest of the trip we were on the bus looking at the countryside.. They were also people on the bus that were very disappointed with this trip.. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
